Oversee all daily operations associated with running 7+ landscape install crews to include scheduling, equipment maintenance, employee management, safety, administrative functions, maintaining relationships with residential & commercial customers, etc. Work closely with Lead Estimator & VP of company to ensure high quality landscape installs & profitability of jobs. Review job statuses daily with Landscape Foreman & check on jobsites daily to ensure productivity & quality. Meet with customers/attend jobsite meetings regarding jobsite progress, concerns/questions, warranty issues, etc. Hold weekly safety meetings with crews & attend weekly meetings with management. Review job costing reports to ensure profitability of jobs, review any possible issues with pricing with VP & Lead Estimator. This job requires a strong work ethic & someone who is a self-starter. The right person is a proactive leader, who enjoys interacting with clients & fellow associates. They will demonstrate role model behaviors in ethics and integrity as well as positively promoting company culture. Must have: - 5+yrs overseeing 3 or more landscape crews. - Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Ag Science, Landscape Architecture or related field - Proficient with Microsoft word, excel, email applications, etc. - Ability to read and follow blueprints - Knowledge of irrigation systems - Able to lift/carry 50+lbs & stand on feet all day - Experienced in running heavy equipment, especially Skid Steers, trenchers, mini-ex's, etc - Bilingual (Spanish) a plus - NC Registered Landscape Contractor, NC Licensed Irrigation Contractor & NC Licensed Pesticide is a plus If interested, please contact Meredith Croom at 910-353-0326 or Email: grantscreeknursery@yahoo.com Thank You!
