Bougainvillea Growers International (BGI) was founded in 1994 on 5 acres with a vision of turning a niche market into a global phenomenon, bringing color and beauty to landscapes and bougainvillea lovers everywhere. Today, our wholesale nurseries total over 67 acres. We currently grow over 20 varieties of bougainvillea all specifically chosen for their reliable branching and flowering habit, and five different bougainvillea products like bush, trellis, standard, hanging basket, and bonsai.

Specializing in growing only one plant species brought disbelief and skepticism from many, but today, BGI is the world's largest bougainvillea grower, introducing new bougainvillea varieties and products with every season. BGI combines a unique hybrid of traditional and progressive business methods to offer premium bougainvillea and bougainvillea products, outstanding customer service, and wide delivery capabilities to the wholesale market unlike any other grower in the industry.
